It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Paul Stevens, Owner + Senior Principal at ZAS Architects Inc.
Paul was a visionary leader, a passionate architect, and a deeply respected member of our community. His contributions to the built environment and to our firm have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire future generations.
Throughout his career, Paul championed design excellence, mentorship, and collaboration. His transformational leadership style shaped many of our most iconic projects and helped define the values that guide ZAS today. Paul was dedicated to building beautiful and prosperous communities where people live, work, learn and play. He delivered his work with exemplary grace, compassion, warmth, and dignity.
In every gesture, large or small, he imparted a profound sense of trust, purpose, and creative inspiration; and his passion for excellence in architecture is evidenced by numerous industry-leading, award-winning projects.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Paul’s wife Tanya, children Noah, Lukas, Rhys, and Edan, and all his family, friends, and those who had the privilege of working with him.
In honour of Paul’s memory, we remain committed to upholding the principles he stood for and continuing the work he so passionately led to fulfill his extraordinary vision.
